A former presidential spokesperson, Dr.
Reuben Abati, has been arrested.
Abati, who was spokesperson to former
President Goodluck Jonathan, was arrested yesterday by the Economic and
Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
The journalist is being questioned for
allegedly receiving some money from former National Security Adviser, Sambo
Dasuki, a source at the EFCC said.
Abati’s arrest makes it at least three former aides of Jonathan who are currently in EFCC’s custody.
