Subscribers in Yenagoa Protest against Poor Services of Multichoice Nigeria Ltd
Scores of Multichoice Nigeria Limited’s DSTV and GOTV subscribers in Yenagoa, the Bayelsa State capital, yesterday lay siege to its premises and sales outlets to protest poor services.
They complained that they had been denied access to viewing channels of their choice days after they renewed their subscriptions. They also lamented poor signals and lack of incentives, as the company does not compensate for inconveniences and lost hours occasioned by technical hitches.
Currently, subscribers pay N14, 700 for DSTV Premium bouquet, N9, 900 for Compact Plus, N6, 300 for Compact and N3, 800 for Family bouquets. It was gathered that the aggrieved customers who thronged DSTV offices in Kpansia, Opolo and Okutukutu areas of Yanagoa, demanded a refund of their monies.
