French club Marseille have
set their sights on Chelsea out of favour midfielder, John Obi Mikel.
Marseille are looking at the
possibility of signing Mikel who has not featured in any of Chelsea’s games
this season.
Mikel who led Nigeria’s U-23 to bronze
medal win at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games is in good form but Antonio Conte has
not looked his way. Mikel is due to become a free agent next summer.

Chelsea’s Nigerian midfielder John Mikel Obi celebrate with team-mates
During the week he said that he will
remain in Chelsea and fight for his place. He has spent 10 years with the
Blues, making well over 350 appearances and collecting numerous major hoours,
but it appears his days in west London are numbered.
“I just have to be professional, work
as hard as I can to get into the team. But it is down to the manager,” Mikel
told the London Evening Standard.
“He has been open and honest with me. I
respect him for that. He has explained the situation and I totally understand.
“When you have been at a club for a
long time, these things happen where a club wants to move forward.
“If I don’t get back in the side, I
