Avril has a new song out. The multiple award winner is on her success journey
and things seem to be going quite well for her. Last we heard from her was in
the collabo she did with Coast artist Susumila Yusuf, Wewe, which was
published on 8th August. Avril is currently on a media tour trying
to get her new jam dubbed Yule Dem out there.
She revealed that the
song was written by fellow musician Amelina during an interview with Radio
maisha’s connect show host, Mwende Macharia.
Yule Dem’s was audio produced by Dj Space of MOB studios while the video was
directed and shot by M.X.T solutions 2016. The song has a lovely sense of afro
fusion blended with a modern beat. It brings out the best side of Avril’s
voice.
The songs message is inspirational. She sings about being strong always
even when people try bringing you down. It is quite different from her previous
songs and am sure you will love it. The song also has a video which was
uploaded on You Tube earlier yesterday. ‘Yule Dem’ has already garnered quite
an impressive amount of views on YouTube.
The video is great, visual effects well placed and the images are clear,
though there is a part where the smoke effect was overdone.
