A white South African man became an
instant online sensation yesterday after pictures of him in briefs at a Malawi
airport hit the interwebs. The man arrived at the Kamuzu International Airport
with nothing but his briefs and two travel bags ready to board the next flight.
Security at the airport did not allow him past the security check since they
thought he was bonkers .The matter was worsened by a Malawian news outlet which
alleged the man in briefs had taken a lot of Malawian hemp which hindered his
judgment.
Stones were thrown, Memes were created
and a merciless troll he received, but it later emerged that the man was not
mad or high on Malawian hemp as alleged earlier .Apparently, the man was
creating awareness and raising money for children by flying in nothing but his
speedo swimwear. The man, identified as Greig Bannatyne was rescued from the
trolls by Madswimmers, a charity organization which said Greig had taken the
swimming challenge a notch higher, all for charity.
