Suarez Scores, Bags Red As Barca Reach Copa Final

Holders Barcelona have qualified for the final of the Spanish Copa Del Rey after playing 1-1 against Atletico Madrid in Tuesday’s second leg semifinal to advance 3-2 on aggregate.

Luis Suarez gave Barcelona the lead in the 43rd minute before Kevin Gameiro equalised for Atletico in the 83rd minute.

Three minutes earlier, Gameiro had missed a golden opportunity for Atletico as he failed to convert from the penalty spot.

Barcelona had two players sent off as Sergi Roberto and Luiz Suarez saw red, while Yannick Carrasco got his marching orders for Atletico.

The Catalans will meet either Deportivo Alaves or Celta Vigo in the final.

Deportivo Alaves will host Celta Vigo in the second leg of their semifinal clash. The first leg ended 0-0.
