Nigeria
forward Brown Ideye has sent his best wishes to the Super Eagles as they get
set to face Senegal and Burkina Faso in friendly games in London.
The
Eagles will take on Senegal on Thursday at The Hive Stadium, before
tackling Burkina Faso on Mondayalso at The Hive.
Ideye,
who was not part of the players invited by Gernot Rohr for the two friendlies,
expressed his hope that the Eagles come out tops.
"Good
luck to the Super Eagles in the two friendly games l coming up, all the Best
guys," Ideye wrote on his Twitter handle on Thursday.
Meanwhile, midfielder John Ogu revealed on Wednesday that former Eagles striker Yakubu Aiyegbeni paid the team a visit.
Ogu tweeted a picture of the squad posing for a shot with Yakubu and revealed the players' excitement at meeting the former Everton striker.
"After
training today. We had the time to visit the pitch
for tomorrow's game. The legend YAKUBU AIYEGBENI came visiting,"
Ogu wrote.
The last time the Eagles played Senegal was in the third place match at the 2006 Africa Cup of Nations which the Eagles won 1-0.
