Sartorial
sensibilities shift from the closet to the dining room with the Tweed tables by
García Cumini for Zanotta.
Recognizing
that wood grain often resembles woven textiles, Vicente García Jiménez and
Cinzia Cumini configured the patterns like layered fabric, so the tops look
different depending on the perspective.
Available
in oak with a gray-painted underside or walnut with black, they come in
three organic shapes: virtually round, oblong, and elongated. The latter could
easily double as a conference table.
